If you are interested in science and the field of Radioactivity, you can do a search on Google for the term: ' cool math - radioactive decay calculator' and you will find a method that is used to figure out how to find the decay of certain types of matter. I'm no scientist and so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I'm sure it involves radioactive elements , isotopes , and ions. But that type of information is not familiar to me at all! But it could prove to be interesting to you.

First off, who is Marie Curie? Marie was a chemist and a physicist who lead research in the realm of radioactivity. She was given 2 Nobel Prizes for her work in developing a technique to isolate radioactive isotopes. She also discovered 2 elements that we currently have on our periodic table: Radium and Polonium. (You remember the chart of elements we had to study in school don't you?)

I'm not talking about the type of science that you would observe at a museum or the kind of science that requires projects . I'm talking about the science involving the TV show The Big Bang Theory series. Have you watched it? My favorite cast members are Sheldon , who is played by Jim Parsons. He is so funny!! Bazzinga! Ha-ha. My next favorite person on the show is Penny who is played by Kaley Cuoco . She is hot looking!

I'm must be way behind in my times because I, up until recently, had never heard of Drake quotes. I grew up listening to rap but I guess I must have missed hearing from this successful rapper. His lyrics have become popular quotes and sayings amongst people. He talks about life, friends, relationships, drinking, girls, success, peer pressure. Wow, I had no idea. Here is an example of a quote from Drake called 'Take Care':  'It’s my birthday, I’ll get high if I want to'.

To give help for kids with the SAT's and similar tests, Barnes & Noble provides popular study guides called SparkNotes . They range from all kinds of subjects from history to math and science. Some think it's a cheating way to study but I feel that if your kids learn and they pass then it's not cheating. There is nothing wrong in opinion to having everything you need at your fingertips.

Yep, that's what we have been thinking about doing lately, cutting out paper snowflakes . You may be wondering why. Well, we live in Florida and I originally came from Michigan where it snows every year. And since snow is real rare here in Florida (ha-ha) we decided it would be cool to go with a winter theme for decorations this year. So we have been looking for free patterns online. I'm not a big fan of horses but I am of animals and so when I heard that a famous horse called Hickstead had died recently I was saddened. From what I understand his death was caught on video. In fact, you can search for ' Hickstead death video ' to see what happened to him. They warn you that it is graphic.

That's what I typed in my favorite search engine recently because I've been thinking about training to do a marathon next year. My wife has suggested that I just do a half marathon first and see how I do and then train again for a full fledged marathon if I complete the half one. (I'm thinking that a half marathon is for me so I am going to be doing a search for a ' training schedule for a marathon ' but only training for a half marathon)

I wanted to share some of my thoughts about rent-to-own furniture. I own a furniture repair business and a number of my accounts that I have included are furniture rental stores such as Aaron's Rental and Rent-A-Center. There is a big difference in the quality of furniture between the two stores. What I like about Aaron's Rental is they make their own furniture. Most people don't know that. So when my wife, a few years back, wanted new bedroom furniture I suggested Aaron's Rental and that's what we ended up getting. I know she had her eye on some Cindy Crawford Furniture but it was way too expensive.

I just recently posted that I was going to buy some memory foam for my mattress and a heating pad. But as we were shopping my wife hinted that she would like a new vacuum like a Dyson or something, too. And on top of that, our coffee maker is dying! (Which reminds me, I need to look up ' how to clean coffee maker ' when I get home. Ours needs some attention!)

I know that the title I've chosen doesn't make a whole lot of sense especially if you follow the ' how to post a blog title ' correctly. But hold on and I'll explain. I know this is already old news when it comes to entertainment, but I still wanted to talk a little about it. I watch the Kardashians on TV and I'm a big fan. And when she started dating Kris Humphries I thought to myself that this may be it. And I was right, well, sort of. I had a feeling that those two might talk marriage and they did, but I was so disappointed when I heard on e-news that they were now getting a divorce. The Kim and Humphries show now ends.

If you have been watching X Factor, you may have come to the same conclusion as me, that there are much better quality singers on this show than there are on the other big 'Idol' show. People from Wyoming to Hawaii are tuning in to this great new singing competition and I like it personally. I really like the judges that they have. I never knew L.A. Reid before but now I'm a huge fan. He is so cool. And I think that Nicole Scherzinger is gorgeous! Ever see her 'Right There' music video? Hot! She would be hot just singing Christmas music ;-]

My wife is really interested in the new product called the Kindle Fire. Her friends from Minnesota and Oregon are buying one and she wants one too. So I stopped in at Best Buy the other day to see if they had any and for how much. They had them for $199. What a great price! They also had an hp Touchpad sale going on too, but that's not why I had gone there (ha-ha, it's so easy for me to get sidetracked). I wanted to get a feel for the new Fire tablet and to see if there were any other places that had lower deals. So I went over to Radio Shack and sure enough they had them too for the same price.

I am so sick of getting spam email, and I'm sure you are as well. The majority of emails that come into my Hotmail account other email accounts, are junk! Lately I've been noticing a lot of emails that are coming from 'anonymous' people. I  hardly ever open these types of a email address because you never know what hackers have up their electronic sleeves! So here is a funny story I had related to just that. Anheuser Busch has just announced that it will be releasing a new beer product in January 2012. For those of you that love Bud Light you will be ecstatic to learn that they are going to be introducing a new beer called Bud Light Platinum . What's so special about this new beer? I'm self-employed and I work for another company part time. But my wife works for a big company full time and she is on salary wages. I make close to what she makes if you take my business and my part time job compared to her average salary. I would like to find a full time job too, but I don't have any college education and I'm 41 years old. I'm in pretty good shape and I've thought about going to school to be an athletic trainer or maybe a therapist. I wonder what an athletic trainer salary is? OK, it's not too often that I go to a hair salon but recently I went with my wife to one as she was getting her beautiful long hair cute short. (It actually turned out pretty good. My auto is a '97 Honda Accord and it has a small oil leak and since it was kind of late I checked online for Auto Zones hours to see how late they were opened. They were still open so I ran up to Auto Zone for some oil. And as I was there I overheard a conversation involving Toyota and Lexus. I guess, there is a recall on Toyota and Lexus models from 2009-2011 and the recall involves their crankshaft pulley. Did you hear about this in the news, that we came close to being walloped by an asteroid? That's crazy and reminds me of the movie Armageddon. Remember that one? That's the movie where the world was saved by Bruce Willis and his crew when they split a huge asteroid in half with a nuclear bomb that was barreling toward earth. I was walking through Sports Authority the other day and I was amazed at how many Tim Tebow items there were. People were lined up to buy Denver Bronco Tebow jerseys. I am a huge fan of football especially watching football on TV. My NFL home team is the Detroit Lions and they are doing pretty good this season and hope they can keep it up. But even though I am a fan of football I don't really get into fantasy football. It's hard enough to keep up with normal football rankings and stats and then have to follow other stats of certain teams and or players. I have been watching a lot of NFL football this season and I have to say that I have been impressed a lot with different teams. My home team is the Detroit lions are doing good, but lately, according to ESPN football, they have dropped in their NFL standing. Hopefully they can do much better. ESPN picks them to do pretty well in their next few games. I think they did good in the NFL draft by picking up Matthew Stafford as their starting quarterback. He has done well and I hope that he continues to do so. It would be great if the Lions make it to the NFL playoffs and if they get a good playoff schedule they could do some damage.
